Martin Macario
Martin is director of Macario Lewin and leads the practice ensuring the firm provides a forward thinking and proactive approach to all clients. Martin serves clients around Europe, the US and Australasia with a particular focus on expatriate taxation.
After qualifying as both a chartered accountant and a chartered tax advisor with an independent firm of accountants Martin joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cardiff where he became a senior manager specialising in international tax. Whilst at PwC Martin was part of the European tax training team whereby he managed and presented courses across Europe as well as working on projects throughout Europe and in South Africa.
After a short spell in industry as a consultant to a £12 billion turnover global company, Martin was a senior tax manager with Ernst & Young before setting up Macario Lewin in 2006 whereby he also acquired the established Chepstow practice RJ Lewin & Co.
